Only 50 days in and others are starting to realize what WE knew all along...

Obama is in over his head...

Will this tide continue??

Or will Obama finely realize he has to move to the center??

I mean when NEWSWEEK starts doubting the President...Can the REST be far behind??

Surfer that he is, President Obama should know a riptide when he's in one. The center usually is the safest, most productive place in politics, but perhaps not now, not in a once-in-a-century economic crisis.

Swimming in the middle, he's denounced as a socialist by conservatives, criticized as a polite accommodationist by government-is-the-answer liberals, and increasingly, dismissed as being in over his head by technocrats.

Luckily for Obama, the public still likes and trusts him, at least judging by the latest polls, including NEWSWEEK's.But, in ways both large and small, what's left of the American establishment is taking his measure and, with surprising swiftness, they are finding him lacking.

I was actually SHOCKED that MSN had this story on their front page...

Obama needs to have Emmanuel fire off a memo to them to let them know this is not acceptable..

Is the article saying bama is a centralist? - "The center usually is the safest, most productive place in politics, but perhaps not now, not in a once-in-a-century economic crisis. Swimming in the middle....."

wow, how off is that? They can't even get it right when they report a very slight criticism of him. And it's still such a mild criticism at that but I guess we can be thankful for any little crumb from the bama lovin' media.

Obama is as much of a centralist as Hitler was a pacifist...

You know I really don't know why these polls say that Americans still trust and believe in him. I don't know anyone -- DEMs included that still believe in OB. So I wonder where these polls are taken? Mars? Elementary Schools? High Schools? At the Gas N' Sip? What's up with all this jazz? Even Whoopi is up in arms.
