It was awhile ago, not long after Sept 11. A guy called into Sean and asked him about his support for the Republican Party. Sean answered with the general concept that he had his differences with the party, but on the whole agreed with their philosophy then the Dems. But the caller pointed out several examples where the Republicans were not walking the talk on fiscal responsibility, smaller government, etc. His point was that (once in office), either party will find ways to go after more tax money, more government and more power. Flash forward to today's list of Republicans supporting the spending bill with ear marks. We really need a viable third party. Rush for Pres, Sean for House Speaker, Mark for Attorney General, Steve Forbes for Treasury Secretary, and Waren Buffett to chair the Federal Reserve.
