What makes Mr. Obama, as a temorary employee of the American people, think he has any right whatsoever to dispose of a statue of Winston Churchill, the gift of the people of Great Britain? It seems we have a history with Churchill and the British that goes back quite a bit before Mr. Obama's time.
The return of this esteemed gift was a deep insult and was taking a great liberty with Americans' reputation, feeling and rights. It was the act of a true troglodyte, a clumsy and inept klutz, not the civilized behavior of the person we continue to hear praised as this elegant, eloquent, urbane example. We need to apologize to the British government and people for this fool's faux pas (yes, I know it was not unintended) and put Mr. Obama in his place. He is just a servant here. He is not a mullah, he is not a king, he is not God. He is just a servant of the American people, not authorized to insult our friends and allies.
