Had high hopes last season, but alas they faded come May. This year could be the year we get trophy #2.

The team was in a decline before he arrived, and after he arrived.

Yep, since San Diego has seen fit to "rebuild". The Giants will vie for third, with the fluke Rockies battling it out for bottom feeder status.

Arizona and Lost Angeles are going to be battling it out for the Division Championship to see who gets plastered in the first round of the playoffs!
Meanwhile, the Arizona Cardinals reign supreme as the best team in the Valley.
(Holy cow, did I just say that???!)

Depends on how you define "the best team in the valley". I already have my tickets for the Memorial Day game. They're planning a military tribute for it.

One can hope. I'll have a plethora of pictures from that game. Haven't been to Chase/BOB since their first home series back in '98.

That was said in 2001 and look what happened. Mystique and Aura were sent to the unemployment lines.

Arizona? Nah... They have no pitching except for Brandon Webb. Nasty, nasty sinker.

Haren ain't so bad himself. The team had one of the most formidable 1-2s in all of baseball last year.

Weren't people talking smack like this last year too?
Isn't starting a thread stating your team will win the world championship the #1 way to ensure that your team doesn't win the world championship?
