I'll say a slight loss today.

50 pts or less.

another 100 point or better loss.... (I am thinking like 178 points).

250 point drop, but we all see how the markets can do the reverse on the day after a big drop.

Ha! All my money is gone from it, I cashed out in March of 2007, payed a bit in penalties but with creative tax returns... I managed to get most of my hard earned money. Now I am just watching for the shear joy of it behind terror filled eyes.

I am going to say down. Then maybe down some more.

When it reaches 0 maybe Obama will notice.

I think it's going to drop, being that it's Friday, and what I believe we are seeing is "hit and run" investment strategies.

I heard that the Unemployment Report will be released.

And from what I hear that will have a negative affect.

Nah, he's not interested in the day to day fluctuations of the stock market........uh, would someone explain to me how a majority of nothing but DOWN is a "fluctuation"? It seems to me that it's not a fluctuation, it's a trend, and if it continues much longer, it will be a crash.

It's the Friday after another zero-confidence stock market plunge, and Obama can't do anything about it because every time he kicks on the teleprompter for another warm fuzzy speech he convinces the market that he's a hack who will make things even worse with his incompetent meddling.

The stock market will surely drop by another 200 points at least and here's the reason why:

Obama's got the Death Penalty Paradox, where it's illegal to execute an ill man, but if you cure him then you can go ahead and kill him.

With all the rhetoric of taxing the rich, the rich see that Obama is only trying to cure their ills so that he can tax them to death later. The man has done nothing but bad-mouth the rich. Why would they believe in or accept his "help" when he's just curing them to kill them?

They're almost all down at the moment, and the unemployment report is coming out and it's a Friday....I'm guessing down triple digits.

I wouldn't count on that. Just wait until those nasty new unemployment numbers hit the Street. Follow that with some nifty words of encouragement from President Hussein and we're down another 200+ possibly :boohoo:

A perfect time to invest if you have the extra money and are young.

It is likely to go down a lot more with Barack Hussein Obama the marxist in power. The dow will likely go below 1,000 when he places his global warming trash on us.

I think it will be another tough day. However, I was officially told this morning that I read to much and that I have officially lost my mind.:silenced: Oh...and need medication because I've lost it and have no idea what I am talking abou the O.

Not yet, unless you are prepared to ride it down to possibly 5000. Why is now perfect, when better deals are only a few weeks away?

Hah, sounds familiar, but my wife has officially apologized for saying I was crazy for saying Obama would wreck the country, she's knee deep in the wreckage now and regrets her hasty remark greatly.

Not to mention the risk that the stock you buy might evaporate when the company you bought goes poof.

It's already down by 70 points and headed towards the triple digits.

This is great, it's making Obama look really bad. :D:D

God I know, my initial guess was on the optomistic side. Now I've got to say down 150 at least.

It's horrible to watch the bottom of the bucket falling out. I guess we deserve it.

I would wait till the congressional elections of 2010. The market will keep nose diving till then. Republicans should get a lot stronger numbers in congress. if its enough to stop Obama's marxist destruction of the country then stocks will start to rebound.

Then, if its clear that obama is a one and done POTUS, the market will start to get back to where it was if a strong conservative then gets elected POTUS with a conservative majority in congress.

If there are any penny stocks still around during that time, and the company(s) haven't died yet, then these will be opportunities to make some good profits.

We just passed -90 on the DOW-ner.

This is going to be a good weekend watching the talking heads rip Obama's failed porkulus scam.
