My understanding is that if you purchased the license for the song(s) from the iStore, that is paid for the song via a subscription service, you can burn a CD to listen to that song on another device as long as you do not sell that CD and its used for personal enjoyment only.

I am told that is the same as buying the CD from a store, ripping it to your iPod or MP3 player then burning a CD from you PCs library for say a mix. As long as it is for you personal use.

Not a lawyer but think that is correct. I use a Zune and they had a service you good download unlimited amounts of songs for a flat rate but after 30 days if you did not renew your subscription the songs license become invalid and the songs would not play. Now Zune lets you keep 10 of the songs you download every month as a part of that flat monthly fee.

Hope that helps.

You know, I hadn't thought about that, but it's a good question. I don't know. You may want to contact the podcasts, individually, and ask them. Then let the rest of us know.

I am thinking that if there is nothing in the Terms of Service, which you agreed to prior to installing ITunes, about burning podcasts, then you should be fine. I have never tried to burn a podcast but that would be helpful-take away from the bad quality of an FM transmitter. But I never knew it was possible? Is this a relevant topic for this forum anyways? lol Oh well unless you're talking about the Hannity podcast...of course. Email Sean and ask him..

If your power is out in the dead of winter, burning anything has to be OK...

Soon it will be law to burn The Flag to stay warm.
