View Full Version : Prayer request for my niece's babies

Our niece up in Michigan had twin babies January 9th, a boy and a girl. They were premature so they spent a few weeks in the hospital and seemed to be doing well so they went home. Now they are both back in the hospital with pneumonia. The boy, Nathan is improving and may go home in the next day or two, but little Emily is not doing well at all and she's on a ventilator.

I'd appreciate prayers for them. Here's their picture at three weeks old. Emily is on the left.

Hello Lady,

My urgent prayers are 'in' with the 'Big Guy' that He dispatch a legion of Angels with all the help needed to get these Beautiful new Souls home in the soundest ways possible. My prayers are also 'in' that the Good Lord bestow upon these Twins and their Parents bountiful Blessings in these new lives.

God Bless You Lady and your entire Family.

I'm the Momma of 14 year old boy/girl twins born 8 weeks early in January 1995. We've walked a mile in your niece and the babies shoes. I'll be praying for these babies and their Momma.

I wish there was more that I could do.

Please keep us posted on their progress.

Prayers you got. RSV has been horrible this season, hitting pretty hard. It put one of my friend's three-year old in the hospital.

I'm a twin (have an 8-minute older bossy sister). I'm almost, kinda, sorta hoping my wife and I have twins. :D

These two are simply adorable.

Careful what you ask for, FallGuy. You just might get it! ;)

The sleep deprivation with twins is horrible. I can't imagine triplets or more.

The whole first year of my kids lives is just a great big giant blur, that I remember only vaguely.

My biggest recollection is that my eyes always felt like they had sand in them from the exhaustion. I could fall asleep standing up, and did so on more than one occasion. ;)

Another recollection is that we spent more time in the hospital than out that first year (it seems). We had a total of four separate surgeries that first year. I am *so* grateful to have moved past that with two healthy happy children. I pray that is the outcome for gb's niece as well.

At any rate....you and the Mrs. could be next with twins. So....here's to praying for that as well.

:)) Thanks Jeny. My mom only found out about having twins a month in advance. What a shocker for her, thinking only one big baby and then discovering two of us.

My wife think it would be cool, but then again, we rethink it and  :D

gb, any updates on little Emily?

They were going to try to start weaning her off of the ventilator, so there must be some improvement. We're kind of slow in getting updates since we're in NC and they're in Mich.

Thanks for the update Lady. I hope and pray to God that He sent those Angels and is looking over and Blessing those Wee Youngsters.

Thank God for technologies, then.

Just imagine living so far from those you love in the 1800s.

Prayers for the babies continue.
