I have recently relocated to Dallas from Russia. While in Russia I owned my own business and had a variety of clients including a private hospital in St. Petersburg where I worked with doctors and the administration to help increase their business.
During the last 28 years I have never been afraid to take on new challenges and to seek to excel in my work. This has always been a benefit to the people and companies I have worked for.

Personal Statement: This resume is an abbreviated statement of my qualifications over the past 20 years, with an emphasis on my last 9 years in Russia. 1999 to Present: I have worked in St. Petersburg, Russia as an Independent Contractor/Entrepreneur in the following areas simultaneously:
- Consultant/Assistant in Negotiations and Communications between Russian businessmen and Western clients, facilitating in the understanding between the parties, and the development of business agreements which were beneficial to all parties involved.
- Acting General Manager for an international relocation company, in St. Petersburg, Russia. Established office, hired and trained staff, liaised between non-Russian clients and the community. Organized moves and supervised staff in regard to services provided by my client. Actively involved in business to business sales, and business development during course of this independent contract.
- “Trouble-Shooter” for MEDEM International Clinic & Hospital, St. Petersburg, Russia, handling foreign issues ranging from customer service to contract negotiations with western firms. Served as a special advisor to the General Director on foreign business issues, business development, and concerns. Represented MEDEM at social functions and business association functions. Also responsible for the creation and editing of all English language advertising, and promoted the business to foreign (non-Russian) markets both locally and internationally helping to develop and increase their sales with foreign clients, and to solidify foreign contracts with vendors.
- Real Estate/Investment Consultant advising and aiding non-Russians regarding real property purchases/investments in the Russian Federation. Created rental/leasing division for Russian real estate firm which was my client, acquiring properties, hiring and training staff, and promoting the division.
- English Editor, Proofreader, Writer of Texts and Advertising Materials for upscale tourist publications, hotel magazines, and firms.
- English Teacher working primarily with directors and managers of businesses. This was used as a platform for developing other business opportunities.

1996 to 1999: Worked as an Independent Businessman providing the following:
- Provided Legal Referral Assistance to defendants in the San Diego County court system, working closely with attorneys, promoting their services.
- Provided Business Start-up Services including the development of business plans, advertising and sales plans, personnel services, and business form filings for new businesses.
1991 to 1996: While a Reserve Officer in the United States Marine Corps, awaiting discharge, I held the following positions:
- Radio Advertising Sales Executive for an NBC affiliate responsible for client development, advertising creation, and occasionally advertising production including performing in radio and television commercials. Managed 100 client accounts, taking care of servicing the accounts and up-selling to increase the overall revenue of the accounts by 50% within 6 months.
- District Sales Manager for Service Corporation International responsible for sales, advertising, hiring, training, and management of a 100 person sales team and staff in the prearranged funeral and cemetery business. The sales team began with myself and 1 other salesman, and I built the sales force and staff to over 100 people, increasing sales from less than $1mln annually to more than $15mln during my first year as District Sales Manager. Within 3 months our district climbed from 27th place to 1st place in a 27-district region, and maintained our 1st place standing 11 of the next 12 months.
1987 to 1994: Served my country as a United States Marine Corps Officer. I was trained and designated as a Naval Aviator, and simultaneously served as a Logistics Officer organizing the logistical, supply, and purchasing needs for 1,000 man squadron and 50 departments. Served as an Assistant Legal Officer, and an Administration Officer. I also served as an Assistant Protocol Officer and a General’s Aide.
Graduated in 1985 with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Agricultural Economics (Agribusiness), with a minor in accounting, from TEXAS A&M UNIVERSITY, College Station, Texas.

I am an ophthalmologist that is loking to remove myself from the region of daily practice. I am very experienced with sales and service, especially with regards to ENT instruments. I would like to begin a new midlife carrer in the sales of medical pharmaceuticals and/or instrumentations while progressively growing a lucritive business. As a previous solo practitioner, I have the strengths and self-starting attitude to excel in this endeavor.
