Thursday was the premiere of the fifth season of Hell's Kitchen.
The show started with the selections of 16 contestants, and they already started making their signature dishes. The contestants are:
Carol
Wil
Ji
Robert
Lacey
Danny
Giovanni
Charlie
LA
J
Colleen
Andrea
Coi
Paula
Ben
Seth
Of course, Chef Ramsey tasted them and offered his opinions. He gave good reviews on some of them, especially to Carol and Ji. He was also quite opinionated to others. After he gave a negative review to a dish made by 41-year old cooking instructor Colleen, she said that she also teaches manners. Not a good way to say to Ramsey. I was amused when he kept mispronouncing her name. Then, Seth, who worshiped Ramsey by reading his book and going to his restaurant, turned in his dish. Ramsey wasn't too thrilled about his ratatouille with honey.
Ramsey declared that it was the best signature dish testing the show ever had. The winner of this season Hell's Kitchen will get a $250,000 prize as well as being the head chef at a casino in Atlantic City alongside with restaurants of famous chefs. The women and men's teams are sent to their pads to come up with the teams' names.
When the teams are in the kitchen preparing for opening night, the women's team are worrying because Lacey doesn't have any line experience. Frustrated, she threaten to quit. But, after clearing her head, Lacey was back to work. But, her teammates are undoubtedly nervous about her. Meanwhile, over at the men's side, Seth tried to hide the fact that he doesn't have much restaurant experience, but he kept annoying his teammates by asking them numerous questions.
The teams announced their names. The women named themselves Team Saphron, even though Colleen and Andrea wanted them to be called Spice Racks. Meanwhile, the men are called the Blues Brothers. Ramsey took one member of each team to be waiters: Giovanni and Carol. Also, he ordered Charlie to shave his goatee. Prior to service, Lacey and Coi had a few words about their station until Ramsey played peacemaker.
During service, Giovanni struggled as a waiter with taking orders. Back at the kitchen, while Ramsey was giving out orders, he was mad when Robert interrupted him and had him bark out the orders. Lacey's scallops wasn't cooked because she didn't turned the oven on while Colleen had changed the cooking of one of the orders which made Ramsey upset. To make things worse, there was a power outage that turned out the lights. As a result, no food was given out. Carol managed to kept the customers at bay by serving them wine. Power came back on, and the chefs resumed cooking. However, it wasn't long until Chef Ramsey blow a fuse when Colleen tried to make a new round of spaghetti by using an used dish. Back at the serving area, Giovanni can't remember who ordered what. Over at the men's side, Wil's garnish for the lamb was burned. Things continued to be bad for Colleen when she didn't cooked the spaghetti properly. Meanwhile, Ramsey was upset when Seth, whom he referred as "Forrest" charred the lamb. More problems for Colleen when her risotto was too sweet because she though she mistook the sugar for salt.
During the chaos in the kitchen, the customers left the restaurant. Since both teams performed badly in the kitchen, the deciding factor for Ramsey was the service in the dining area. The customers rated Carol's service, thanks to the wine, higher that Giovanni's service. That means the men's team lose and have to nominate two members.
Back at the pad, Wil made the mistake of volunteering to be nominated.
When Ramsey asked who are the nominees, it was announced that it was Wil and Seth. The team clearly wanted Wil to be back and Seth gone. Robert thought about taking Wil's place in order to have a better chance of getting rid of Seth, but he changed his mind to respect Wil's decision to join the firing line. In the end, Ramsey got rid of Wil.

It was another great episode of Hell's Kitchen.
The men, especially J., were upset that Seth is still in the competition. Meanwhile, Coi apologized to Lacey for her out burst the other night but insisted that can't give up. Lacey had some issues with her, and the rest of the women said the same thing Coi said.
The cooks were awaken by a marching band, and they headed outside. When they arrived to the lot, they saw garbage bags filled with the food from last night. They thought that they were about to go through them, but Chef Ramsey told them to go through crates to find fresh scallops and filled the buckets with them. Then, the next challenge was to shock the scallops to Ramsey's standards in order for them to appreciate fresh seafood. On the girl's side, Amanda sit out to even the field. In the end, the men team won. Their reward is a trip ti the Catalina Islands by a helicopter trip. As punishment, the ladies have to set up a raw bar for services.
Lacey was crying in her bed and wanted to quit, but Ji told her that the team needed her. She stayed in bed while her team did the preparations for service. Not surprisingly, they were upset about her not participating. When she did arrived, she said that she was sorry that she was late.
Chef Ramsey called Robert and told him that, because of helicopter insurance, he can't join his teammate on the copter because of his weight. Instead, he have to travel by ferry. Meanwhile, the rest of the men travel in the boat and watch the fish in the aquarium. Seth behaved like a stalker when he talked about the info he knew about Ramsey including his birthday, children, and cars. When Robert finally arrived, Ramsey told him that he have to travel back because the trip is over. How cruel.
Back at the restaurant, the chefs were getting ready for service when Ji hurt her ankle. Despite that, she decided to forge ahead with services. There will be a fresh seafood raw bar to satisfy the customers until appetizers are done. Serving them were Paula from the Red team and Robert from the Blue team.
In the kitchen, Carol from the women's team burned the garlic and her risotto was sticking on the pan. Meanwhile, Charlie from the men's team never cooked a risotto and have Ben to help him. Poor Colleen continued to struggle with the way she cooked her dishes. Over at the men's side, Chef Ramsey was upset at Charlie and Seth over the fact that there are no lobster in lobster spaghetti. More problems for Colleen as she didn't have the John Dory and her meal was black. Ramsey questioned her credentials as a teacher. As a result, he sent her to the raw bar and Paula to do the meat. Ramsey had issues with Giovanni's raw salmon. As the two kitchens were heading to finish their respective services, Ramsey said that the first kitchen to finish their orders will win. As the teams were down to the finishing line, Carol from the women's team said that she wasn't ready to do the last dish. As the result, the men won.
During the service, Ji had labored with the pain of her ankle and have to seek medical help after services. Chef Ramsey praised her for her toughness in the services.
In the firing line, the women's team nominated Colleen and Lacey, which I was shocked because I thought she did well in the kitchen. Before Chef Ramsey announced his decision, Ji volunteered to be sent home because of her injury. Ramsey granted her wish and told her to hold onto the jacket to remember how hard she worked. The members of both teams gave her a standing ovation as she departed. Meanwhile, Colleen and Lacey were safe from elimination. That means more drama from the women.

It was a great episode of Hell's Kitchen.
The members of the women's team were still sad to see Ji leaving the competition and already missed her since she was their strongest member. Andrea went into a bitch fest to Lacey, and Lacey didn't liked it.
After only three hours worth of sleep, the chefs were awoke by the sounds of cow bells by the sous chefs. They were later sent to and toured a meat processing plant to watch meats being chopped off. What a nice thing to watch in the morning. They later learned the different types of meat and where they located. They better be paying attention because, when they returned to Hell's Kitchen, Chef Ramsey and two plastic cows gave them a challenge. One member of each team must correctly identify all of the meat and, after the paltes were correctly named, another member must correctly remember which part of the cow the meat belongs to. In the end, the men's team won after Lacey screwed things up for the women. The men's reward was a trip to a winery for wine-tasting and dinner at a steak house. Plus, they will travel by a private jet. For Robert, it was an emotional time because he had to cancel his wedding to be on Hell's Kitchen. For the women, they must carry meat from the processing plant from the truck to the kitchen. They even carried a whole side of a cow. In addition, they ate a plate full of unwanted cow parts. Andrea puked a couple of times and swore that she won't lose and be embarrass. The women wants to win the next challenge for her.
Chef Ramsey told the chefs that Hell's Kitchen will be a steak house, and Giovanni was confident because he works at a steak house. There's a twist: One team will be cooking while another will be serving.
When the men's team were cooking, Lacey was having problems with the tickets and giving them to J.P. Over at the kitchen, Charlie was having problems with the shrimp and his cloth was on fire. Later, Ramsey was upset because Ben was serving dessert before the appetizers were finished. Even when the appetizers were served, they were returned. Then, Lacey once again was having problems and said to Ramsey that it was the reason she was never a waitress. Meanwhile, Giovanni's steaks were being sent back because it was undercooked. In addition, Seth never cleaned the tender loins and cut the fillets horribly. As a result, Chef Ramsey shut the kitchen down.
Now, it's the ladies' turn at the kitchen with the men doing the serving. Charlie was having problems remembering if he took orders from four tables and asking another member to check it out. Colleen once again struggled in the kitchen, and Ramsey didn't liked it. He had her to repeat an order a couple of times, and she still struggle. Meanwhile, back in the service area, Gio tried to please the customers by speaking French. Meanwhile, Colleen was having problems with the appetizers while Coi's shrimps were raw Back at the tables, Charile's struggles continued as he dropped bacon on a table. Meanwhile, some of the women's meat were sent back, but Ramsey said that they were cooked well. Turned out, the men were sabotaging the women because they felt that they tried to sabotage them. In the end, the women won the challenge.
The men wanted Gio gone because they felt that he was the strongest competitor, and he doesn't like it.
In the firing line, the men nominated Seth and Charlie. Seth spoke out and wanted to see if anyone was in agreement with the decision.
When asked why they should stay, Charlie said that he worked his ass off and have more experienced than Seth. Seth gave a long speech of how Chef Ramsey could help him develop as a chef. Basically kissing his ass.
In the end, Chef Ramsey sent Charlie home.

It was another good episode of Hell's Kitchen.
After the latest elimination, Gio told Seth that he doesn't respect him. Meanwhile, Robert does his best Chef Ramsey impersonation in front of the other chefs.
In Hell's Kitchen, Chef Ramsey asked each team who is the strongest member. For the Red team, Paula said that she is while, on the Blue team, Danny responded that he is the strongest member of his team. The other members of each team were stunned with the member's response. The latest challenge will test the teams' teamwork. They will have to cook breakfast for a youth football team and cheerleaders. The Red team will cook for the cheerleaders and the Blue team will cook for the football players. The first team to finish their service first wins. During cooking, Colleen showcased her team spirit when she did her cheers (even claimed to still wear her cheerleadering outfit) which annoyed the rest of the women team. Over at the Blue team, Chef Ramsey complained about the way Robert made the potatoes on his dish. In addition, Seth, who claimed that he found a way to make scramble eggs, was having problems with them. At the ladies' team, Coi was having problems with her pancakes. In the end, the women won the challenge. Colleen was so excited about the victory that she misspelled victory. The kids asked for Ramsey's autograph.
As punishment, the men have to clean the tables and kitchen as well as prepping for the upcoming service. Meanwhile, the women will be going camping - Beverly Hills style in a spa. They will be pampered and massaged there. The men, on the other hand, were having problems. Ben and Danny were exchanging words over the pancakes, and things were getting heated. After he left, Ben smashed something. When the women returned, the men still haven't finished prepping the women's kitchen.
During the service, Gio was having waiting for the water to boil while Seth's scallop tasted like rubber. At the women's kitchen, Ramsey blasted Coi for the way she cooked the spaghetti and getting ahead. Meanwhile, Andrea went to the men's kitchen for the tomato butter sauce. Ben made it, and it tasted terrible. Danny made another tomato butter sause, and Chef Ramsey praised it. The Blue team's salad was sent back because of the lettuce, and Ramsey was upset at Jay for the way he prepared it. Ramsey was also mad at the way that Ben's lamb chops was cut too thin. On the women's side, L.A. and Colleen were having problems with each other on the meat station. The men are waiting for Danny to finish making his garnish for the potatoes. Over at the Red team, Ramsey was critical of Colleen of making four Beef Wellington instead of three. More frustration for Ramsey when he saw Seth wiped his face and nose on the same towel. With the addition of his customers' impatience and food returning, Ramsey just about had it and sent both teams back to their rooms. Both teams must nominate two members for elimination.
The Blue team nominated Seth and Ben while the Red team nominated Colleen and Lacey, even though she believed that Coi should have been there. In the end, Ramsey sent Seth home and send Lacey to the Blue Team. No doubt, the ladies are glad that Lacey will be in the men's team.

It was a good episode of Hell's Kitchen.
The Red Team was ecstatic about Lacey moving to the Blue Team. Andrea was definitely giddy about it. Meanwhile, over at the Blue team, Ben was upset because he felt that Ramsey traded one headache in Seth for another headache in Lacey. Lacey said that, if the team lose another challenge that they should nominate her.
The chefs traveled to an Asian market when Chef Ramsey talked about Asian fusion food. The chef have 25 minutes and $100 to buy ingredients to make three Asian dishes. On the women team, Andrea took control while the men just shop for items. Lacey was struggling to find a voice on her new team. Back to Hell's Kitchen, the teams have 30 minutes to make the three dishes. On the men team, Ben teaches Lacey about cooking Asian fusion food. But, she still having problems on being heard on the team. On the women team, Andrea is at the controls in the kitchen.
Chef Ramsey announced that the editor-in-chief of epicurious.com Tanya Steele will be helping him judge the dishes. Plus, the winning team will have their recipes be posted on the website. After a tie after two dishes, Steele picked the women team as the winner after the third dish. For their reward, the ladies will have surprises in Asian fashion. For the Blue team, they have to prepare fortune cookies as well as decorating the whole restaurant with origami. Lacey wasn't happy about losing challenges and want to go home. because she felt that she wasn't appreciated by the other chefs. Ben tried to convince her to stay.
The ladies entered a karate school and watched Ramsey and J.P. donning Sumo wrestling suits and wrestled. Then, it was the ladies' turn to wear the suits. Later, they drank the Japanese drink Saki.
At Hell's Kitchen, the men were struggling with making origami until Lacey taught them how to do it. It made her feel better about staying in the game.
Before services begin, Chef Ramsey called Carol's tuna casserole as the best ever and added to the menu. It went off to a good start with Ramsey praising the risotto by Gio and L.A. Then, the chefs made large orders from Sumo wrestlers. At the Blue team's kitchen, Lacey emerged as the leader. However, things started going downhill with Andrea burned her Wellington and hid them Then, Ramsey was upset that J's Wellington was cold. Later, Ramsey found the Red Team's oven open and found Andrea's burnt Wellington. Then, Ramsey called Robert Bobby numerous times, and Robert didn't responded. Robert wasn't pleased with Ramsey calling him Bobby because that's his father's name. Later, Ramsey found food in Robert's pan and was very upset with it. He went to talk to Robert privately to set him straight. Robert wasn't happy with Ramsey and showed his ass on camera. Over at the Red team, Andrea's game was off. J's problems continue when his chicken dish was returned raw and forgetting the orders. Ramsey was angry that there was 14 minutes without an entry coming off the kitchen. Then, the Red Team's pastry was returned raw as well, and Colleen was to blame. Ramsey was fed up that he shut both kitchens down.
Ramsey told Gio and L.A. to pick one member of each team for elimination. Ramsey called Robert to his office and explained why he didn't answered when he called him Bobby. Robert talked about his tough childhood with his father and how him called him Bobby gave him bad memories. Ramsey apologized.
In the kitchen, Andrea and J were nominated. Ramsey decided that both Andrea and J will still be on the competition. However, he decided to let Colleen go. Before she exited, Ramsey praised her for her tenacity and fight and wishes that the rest of the teams would have her fighting spirit.

I was happy to see Ramsey apologize to Robert, it was a decent and gracious thing to do - I felt badly for Robert, but by hanging in there and doing well, he is proving his Father wrong - best revenge ever -
I don't know about you, but I have yet to see any one chef that stands out - most of them are rude and display very little class, and their cooking skills appear to leave a lot to be desired - hopefully they pull it together, or Ramsey may throw the lot of them out!! -
thanks so much for the updates - I greatly appreciate them - *kiss*

It was another good episode of Hell's Kitchen.
After the latest elimination, the Red Team was sad to see Colleen go because they miss her spirit, and she was like a mother hen to them. Andrea viewed her nomination as the spark to lift her fire. After he avoided elimination, J cried in front of pictures of his wife and son and vowed not to make that mistake again.
Before telling them the next challenge, Chef Ramsey praised Lacey for her work in the last service and called her a shining star. Ramsey told the chefs that Hell's Kitchen will be hosting a Bar Mitzvah. Ben was excited about it and said that they will be cooking for his people. Ramsey have the boy's mother and grandmother to tell them about his favorite foods: hamburger, chicken soup, and brisket. The chefs have to cook the three meals in a gourmet way. In the Red team's kitchen, Andrea was giving advice to carol on how to make her hamburger. But, Carol was too stubborn and wanted to add blue cheese to the burger. The judge for the challenge will the the boy being Bar Mitzvahed himself. After another 1 - 1 tie, the task comes down to the hamburgers. Max liked the Red Team's burger but didn't liked the cheese. So, the Blue team won. Their reward was a trip to the spa while the Red team's punishment was to decorate the room for the Bar Mitzvah.
Carol and Andrea continued with their feud as they disagreed with the way the dance floor was built. The boy's mother told J.P. that she have someone to help do the design, and it was Francisco. The women finally finished the floor, which looked like a basketball court. When the Blue team arrived back from the spa wearing glasses, some of the women weren't too pleased.
In the kitchen, Chef Ramsey wanted Andrea to add mushroom to her risotto but, when Carol offered some help, she ignored her. Later, Chef Ramsey, as part of the punishment, had the ladies leave the kitchen to perform the hora of lifting Max while he was sitting on the chair.
Over at the Blue Team, Ramsey was upset that J put dressing on both salads where the order have one salad to have dressing. Then, Lacey was called out for trying to serve her beef cold. All she have to do was warm it up, but she took her time. That led Ramsey to say Where's the Beef. Plus, Ramsey called out Danny for trying to serve a meal on a dirty dish.
back at the Red Team, Ramsey wants Max to have his burgers before anyone get their entrees. But, Coi forgot to get the burgers and got off to a late start. Then, Ramsey was upset that her meat was cold. Then, the Carol and Andrea feud continues, this time over fries. There seems to be no communications on that team.
Meanwhile, Francisco was having fun with the kids at the shooting game. Then, while serving the cake, he ran into J.P. and drop it. J.P. was clearly upset. As a result, Ramsey had the chefs to deliver the desserts to the guests.
After the service, Chef Ramsey have a surprise for Max. The Harlem Globetrotters showed up and demonstrated their skils and showed Max a trick or two.
Prior to Ramsey's decision, Andrea tried to clear the air over the fires, but Carol shocked her when she said that she would like to punch her in the throat. Chef Ramsey, based of effort and fire, named the Blue Team the winner. Also, he singled out Andrea as the best of the Red Team and asked her nominate two members for elimination. The rest of the team was shocked by Ramsey's pick of Andrea. They thought she was one of the worst.
In the elimination round, Andrea told Ramsey that she still haven't decided on whom to nominate. Of course, he was upset and demanded her to nominate someone. So, she nominated Coi and L.A. L.A. said that Andrea was the worst that night, and almost everyone of the Red team agreed with her. In the end, Ramsey let Coi go.

It was a good episode of Hell's Kitchen.
Andrea didn't nominated Carol despite saying that she wants to punch her in the neck was because that she doesn't think that she was the worst of the night. She nominated L.A. because she felt that she didn't have the passion in the last couple of weeks. The Red Team is certainly is divided into two factions: Paula/Andrea and L.A./Carol.
In Hell's Kitchen, Chef Ramsey introduced the chefs to six samples of small portion dishes of salmon from his London restaurant. The latest task is for the chefs to create five small plates from leftovers in 20 minutes in a head-to-head competition. Before they began cooking, Ramsey made a change in the Red Team when he told Gio to go to the Red Team from the Blue Team.
In the first match-up, it was a tie. The second match-up was a wash as neither team gets a point. After the competition was tied 2 - 2, Ramsey picked Gio's dish over Ben's dish in a close one that gave the Red Team the win. Their reward was a trip to the Hollywood Park racetrack for horse racing. For the Blue Team, their punishment was to prep both kitchens for service in the same night. Lacey wasn't happy about doing double-prepping. She appeared not interested in the prepping, and the men aren't pleased about it. She complained that she wasn't treated as an equal and threaten to quit once again because she doesn't want to be known as the bitch of Hell's Kitchen. And, once again, Ben tried to convince her to stay by saying that the team needs her. And, once again, she agreed to stay.
During service, Chef Ramsey complained about the rice in the risotto of being mushy and overcooked and ask who prepared the rice. Carol said that the Blue Team and J. prepared them. Ramsey was fuming. Then, he was upset that Carol delivered her pasta raw, even though Andrea was the one who prepared it. Ramsey sent both women to the dining area and eat the pasta.
Still frustrated with J., Ramsey had a few choice words to him in the room to give him a wake-up call. However, after struggling with the Beef Wellington and finding the meat on a dirty tray, Ramsey had enough and kicked him out of the show. As a result, he was sent home. Ramsey was also upset with L.A.'s dory as well as Ben's Wellington. He also gave Ben a wake-up call.
Ramsey complimented Paula's Wellington and called it the best Wellington he had ever had. Gio emerged as the leader of the Red Team. After the service, the Red Team was the winner. However, tension continues between Andrea and Carol. Carol accused Andrea of having the worst service of the night while Andrea accused her of having verbal diarrhoea. Ramsey ordered the Blue team to send one person that don't want to work with. Robert accused Lacey of not being a team player, and the two exchange words. Ben knows that he had a bad night and worried that he might be called up.
In the elimination round, all of the men named Lacey because of her wanting to quit and not being a team player. Ramsey called Lacey and Ben. He decided to keep both players in the show but warned Lacey to get along with her teammates.

It was another good episode of Hell's Kitchen.
After the latest elimination, Gio from the Red Team talked to Carol about not letting Andrea getting the best of her. Later, L.A. questioned Lacey's motive of being on the show. Lacey responded by saying that she hopes that she would learn something. Robert had some choice words for Lacey.
In the kitchen, Chef Ramsey gave the chefs both beef and scallop tartar for them to taste. What they didn't know was that the beef was replaced by tuna while the scallops was replaced by sea bass. All of the chefs didn't recognized the difference. Their next challenge was a taste test. In the final round, the two remaining chefs have to name 10 ingredients in a soup with one point for each item correctly named. In the end, the Red Team won again. their reward was a photo shoot for TV Guide. Meanwhile, the Blue Team's punishment was to wait on the Red Team during the shoot and prepping both kitchens for service. During the prepping, the Blue Team is tired of Lacey whining and complaining.
During service, the restaurant have two celebrity guests: actors Eric McCormack and Robert Patrick.
In the kitchen, Chef Ramsey was upset that Carol's risotto was too mushy and salty. Then, she came back with a perfectly good risotto. Then, Robert's spaghetti was deemed too big, and Ben have to help him. In the dining area, Eric ordered scallops. However, Carol was struggling with the meat as both she and Andrea were having problems communicating.
Meanwhile, Lacey was completely lost in the kitchen dealing with the meat. Ramsey told her to get out and talked to her in the storage room. She later came back, but things didn't change as she is still clueless. Ramsey finally kicked her out for good. She apologized to her mother for making enemies on the show. After a long delay, Eric finally got his scallops and enjoyed it.
A funny moment on the show was when Robert ripped his pants while in the kitchen.
While the Blue Team finished their service, the Red Team struggled with Andrea's overcooked dory and Carol's lamb returning to the kitchen. Plus, Chef Ramsey kept asking Carol where's the chicken.
In the end, the Red Team lose because they didn't act as a team. They now have to agree which two members be up for elimination. After much discussion, they still haven't come to a clear decision. They decided to name Carol and L.A. Ramsey asked which member they also considered, and L.A. said Andrea. So, Ramsey called all three forward.
In the end, Ramsey let go L.A.

It was a good episode of Hell's Kitchen.
After elimination, Andrea and Carol had another war of words. Andrea was angry that Carol threw her under the bus in front of Ramsey.
The latest challenge for the chefs was to create individual dishes with the King Crab. Then, the team must agree on one dish to represent them to present to Chef Ramsey for a taste test. But, Ramsey wasn't pleased on Andrea's dish that have shells and Ben's dish because it lacked the WOW factor. So, he ordered Paula and Danny's dishes. In the end, the Blue Team won.
Their reward is a trip to the beaches at Santa Monica and lunch with Ramsey. They will travel in a hummer limo. When they arrived, they and Chef Ramsey on Segways with the exception of Robert, who took a bike.
The Red Team's punishment was to clean the dorms and clean and cook the crabs for services.
Chef Ramsey told the chefs that they are responsible for their own menus featuring three appetizers, three entrees, and three desserts. The entrees should feature crab. However, their menus are similar.
During the service, one customer returned the Red Team's beef dishes because it was too bland. The second dish wasn't better, and the same customer came to the counter to complain. When she whistled to get his attention, Ramsey mouthed off at her. Very entertaining. Ramsey had problems with Ben's soup because it was too salty. Carol was having problems with the potatoes because it wasn't prepared properly, and she was trying to blame it on others.
After service, Ramsey read the customer service cards. Both teams didn't scored high, but the Red Team won. Danny have to select one member of his team for elimination.
Danny chose Ben. However, Ramsey called both Ben and Robert to the line and explained why they should still be on the show. Then, Ramsey decided to send both Ben and Robert to the Blue Team and dismissed Carol.

I wish this season was more predictable. I really don't have anyone
to root for this time. I love this show, though. The pace is frantic,
and the pressure is palpable, IMO. The variables are so unpredictable,
too. Ramsay tries to throw them off their pace, so it keeps it very
interesting to me. I like the new "Chopped" on Food Network because
the winner is picked in just one episode.

It was a decent episode of Hell's Kitchen.
The chefs were in the dining area where Chef Ramsey asked them a tough question: Who's the weakest chef on each team? The two named chefs were Ben and Andrea. Then, Ramsey told them to take off their jackets. The two thought that they were leaving, but Ramsey shocked them by telling them that they made it to the Final Six. The chefs are now members of the black team, and they will doing their first individual challenge. they have to make a single dish using all 14 ingredients. The reward is a culinary trip to San Francisco. In the end, it comes down between Ben and Danny. Ramsey chose Ben as the winner, and Ben picked Robert to go on the trip with him. Danny was upset because he felt that the reason Ben didn't picked him was because he named him as the weakest chef of his team.
The rest of the chefs will have to pick up deliveries from the trucks when they heard the buzzer as well as doing prep. During the delivery, Gio couldn't handle the boxes and dropped and broke the glasses of drinks. Later, he refused to do any more deliveries until he was forced to. After Danny checked off the final delivery, Paula realized that they were short of two lobsters. Gio rushed outside to tell Danny to stop the truck. However, Paula realized that she miscounted and told Gio that they have the correct number. Gio was upset at her and said to tell the count earlier.
Meanwhile, at San Francisco, Ben and Robert were having dinner with Ramsey at the Chef's Table in the kitchen. When they returned, Ben was bragging about his trip, and some of the chefs are pretty annoyed about it.
The service will featured Ben's winning chicken dish on the menu.
Ramsey complained about Robert's scallops being overcooked and that Andrea went too far ahead with the potatoes. Meanwhile, Ramsey praised Paula's Caesar Salad. However, Ramsey was upset that Gio's chicken have blood. Later, upset with himself, he had some words to Ramsey. Ramsey was having more problems with Andrea and asked her to leave the kitchen. After some words from J.P., she came back. Robert was upset with Robert for adding bacon with the John Dory. Then, Robert had his hands burned when he tried to carry a hot tray in the fridge that Gio placed. Of course, both Ramsey and Robert were mad. There were no communication in the kitchen, and the service was a disaster.
Ramsey had Paula to name two people for elimination. She named Gio and Andrea. However, Ramsey called out Robert as well. In the end, Ramsey eliminated Gio.
Just as the chefs were about to go to bed, Ramsey called and want the chefs to come down to the dining area immediately. After saying he was upset about the service and wondering if this was the best final six, Ramsey shut down Hell's Kitchen. OH, REALLY.

It was a good episode of Hell's Kitchen.
Chef Ramsey told the five remaining chefs that he's shutting down Hell's Kitchen. He told them that he's taking them to Atlantic City to go to Borgata to visit the new restaurant. Upon arriving, they were greeted with beautiful women in the Borgata. They took a tour of Restaurant Row and the upcoming restaurant one of them will be working in. In addition, they were treated with pool services, massages, manicures, etc.
The contestants had dinner with a chef, but Robert had to excused himself because he was suffering from chest pains. He sought medical attention and was sent to the hospital. He called the fellow contestants during dinner and told them about his medical condition.
Back at Hell's Kitchen, the chefs were happy to see Robert walking back to the kitchen. However, he said that he's not feeling well and said that he's not coming back. Ramsey praised Robert on how he did during the competition.
The remaining chefs had a challenge where they have to make a signature dish for the new restaurant in the Borgata. This challenge is huge because the winner will be safe from elimination. In the end, Andrea won the challenge and immunity. The three remaining chefs were upset about this because they viewed Andrea as the weakest link.
As for the service, it went off to a good start. However, Andrea's scallops were sent back because it was raw. Then, Ben's puree was returned because it was cold. Ramsey was furious about Ben because he appeared to be slipping. He told Ben to get out but, after some time alone, he returned. Ben rebounded and performed well. Andrea, however, continued to struggle. Her salmon was sent back because it was raw and her scallops continue to get bad reviews. Ramsey wondered if her immunity affected her performance.
After a bad service, the kitchen was shut down. Ramsey was disappointed with the service and the lack of teamwork. He wants the team to come up with two members to be up for elimination. Ben, Danny, and Paula all agreed that Andrea should be up for elimination if she haven't have immunity. But, they struggled to come up with two contestants.
In the end, Ben and Paula were the two contestants nominated. Ramsey cut off both chefs' speeches on why they should be on the show. He sent Paula back in line and called Andrea to come forward. Ramsey said that she was the worst cook during the service and caused the poor performances of Paula and Ben. He kept Andrea because he's a man of his word. Then, he told Ben that it's his last chance. No one was eliminated.

It was a good episode of Hell's Kitchen.
On the way back to the dorms after Chef Ramsey kept all four chefs, Ramsey reminded Ben and kept saying to admit, "I am wrong."
In the kitchen, Ramsey prepared three dishes: beef, duck, and fish stew and had the chefs to taste them. The majority said that they liked the fish stew the best. As a result, their latest challenge was to recreate the same dish. During the preparations, Ben hid the alcohol with a towel until he was busted by Ramsey. In a tight race between Paula and Danny, Ramsey selected Danny as the winner. His reward was a ride with Ramsey on a biplane. As for the other chefs, they have to help J.P. with cleaning, polishing and prepping for the next service. Andrea wasn't happy about this and acted all stressed out.
Before services begin, Chef Ramsey told the chefs to go back to the dorms to see something. It was Ramsey's cookware as gifts for the four chefs. Ramsey told the chefs that everybody will have a clean slate for the upcoming service.
Even though Ben barked out the wrong orders, things got off to a good start. His risotto was praised the Ramsey as well as Andrea's Wellington. However, Ramsey criticized Ben's appetizers as being bland as well as his preparation for a plain salad. Also, he forgot to drop the pasta. In other news, a customer told J.P. that he wants to propose to his girlfriend and wants to place the ring onto the dessert. When she saw the engagement ring on the dessert, he bent on his knee and ask her for marriage. Of course, she said yes. Ramsey gave her a rose.
Back at service, they went almost finished with a perfect service until Andrea couldn't find the two Wellingtons. As a result, the service was ruined. The team have to come up with two members to be up for elimination. However, Ben and Andrea exchanged words with each other.
In the end, Ramsey called up Andrea and Ben to come forward. After both chefs made their cases to stay, Ramsey decided to eliminate Ben but praised him for his passion and work ethic.

good - I've always liked Danny -
Danny's my pick to win it. I have to grudgingly like the guy - he is full of himself, but he is not all talk, he can actually back up his bravado. So in the end I have to respect his well-placed confidence in himself.
I like Paula, but she's so quiet I have a hard time seeing her run a kitchen. She looks like she would be the perfect wingman however- very reliable and not prone to drama.
I'm a little suprised Angela made it this far, but I'm pretty positive she will be the next go go. Though the previews for next week - as they always do - gives me slight doubt.

It was a good episode of Hell's Kitchen.
After the latest elimination, the three remaining chefs were greeted by a surprise visit from their loved ones.
After spending the night with friends and relatives, the chefs have to do a task of preparing 100 portions for 100 special guests in 90 minutes. After finishing the meals, the chefs realized that the 100 special guests were 100 distinguished chefs from Los Angeles, including executive chefs and James Beard Award winners. Each chefs have a score card to vote for their favorite meal and least favorite meal. In the end, 76% of the chefs voted Danny's dish as their least favorite while 76% of the chefs voted Paula's dish as their favorite. As a reward, Paula will get a Hollywood makeover. There's a second prize which will be a surprise. As punishment, Andrea and Danny will have clean up the restaurant and do the laundry. Danny was clearly frustrated about this.
On the limo ride to the salon, J.P. talked and somewhat flirted with Paula.
Paula's second surprise was a live cooking segment with Chef Ramsey on Good Day L.A., and the chefs get to watch it while cleaning Hell's Kitchen.
Back at Hell's Kitchen, each chef gets a chance to run the kitchen during service. Scott and Gloria get to help cook in the kitchen.
Paula was the first chef to be in charge. On the start, she sounded nervous and stumbled over the words while giving orders. Chef Ramsey gave her the first quality control test when she was given squash puree instead of carrot. She didn't passed it when she failed to taste it before giving it out. But, she passed the second test and took control of the kitchen.
Danny was the second chef to run things. He was nervous reading the orders. What he didn't know was the J.P. sabotaged him by giving the ticket without appetizers and time. He didn't realized that until Ramsey pointed that out. He also missed the raw potatoes in the second test. But, near the end, he hit his stride.
Andrea was the last chef to take control. She was aggressive and took charge. However, she missed the wrong fish in the halibut in the first test. Also, she was a little too rough on Scott.
In the end, it was a great service. Ramsey told the chefs to tell him which chef should be eliminated. Andrea and Danny voted for each other with Paula hanging the bag. In elimination, Paula did say that Andrea should go home.
In the end, Ramsey did eliminated Andrea, but he complimented her on being a determined fighter.
It's down to the final two of Danny and Paula.

It was part one of the Hell's Kitchen finale.
Chef Ramsey had divided the restaurant into two: one side for Danny and one side for Paula.
The two remaining chefs celebrated and got drunk on champagne. They didn't have time to come up with ideas for their restaurant and menu until early in the morning before they meet with the decorator.
Danny said that he wanted a mounted fish on the wall and wants to be called either The Velvet Hammer or Susan Marie. Meanwhile, Paula wanted real candles on the walls and be called Sunergy.
Ramsey told the chefs that they will travel to Atlantic City for some unfinished business. As a result, their restaurants will be in the hands of some trusted people. Danny's restaurant will be under the watchful eyes of his father and girlfriend while Paula's restaurant will be supervised by her mother and sister. Paula definitely doesn't want any pink and purple in her place while Danny's girlfriend took the reigns of the supervision. However, the fire marshal told Paula's sister and mother that they can't have real candles in the place, so they were replaced by fake ones.
At Atlantic City, the chefs were greeted by 500 workers at the Bogota and met with the Chief Operating Officer Larry Mullin. He looked at the two menus and picked out three dishes each, and the chefs have to make them for the next challenge. The dishes were tasted by three different judges and, surprise, it was tied one apiece. In the end, Danny won and get a special reward.
Back at Hell's Kitchen, the chefs got the look of their restaurants. While Paula was pleased, Danny wasn't too sure about his place. Chef Ramsey told the chefs that there's one more challenge and showed them a table of plates with lids covering them. He opened the lids, and it's the heads of the eliminated chefs. Danny get the first pick on which ones will be a member of his crew.
Danny's team: Ben, Gio, Carol
Paula's team: Andrea, L.A., Lacey.
It's going to be interesting to see how Lacey will do.

Just as well his TV programme is doing well.
Considering that his wife recently found out he's been two-timing her, he's in trouble for not filing his accounts, and his restaurant empire is heavily in debt and going down the tubes, the poor little bairn needs something positive to keep his spirits up.

It was a great finale of Hell's Kitchen.
After Danny and Paula picked their teams, they head back to the dorms to talk about the menus.
Over at Danny's team, he have to worry about Gio who seemed to have a chip on his shoulder and prefer to go home. While, over at Paula's team, she have to deal with Lacey and her problems. I have to say that I like Lacey. She was entertaining on the show.
Chef Ramsey checked the food of both chefs and gave his critique. Paula have to make sure that Andrea doesn't overcook the scallops as well as making sure that Lacey can do desserts. However, prior to Ramsey's tasting, she curdled the banana creme burlee. For Danny, he have to make sure that the pears aren't undercooked.
Time now for the final two chefs to cook for their customers in the respective restaurants.
Over at Danny's restaurant called The Velvet Hammer, things started off well. However, Ramsey told him to check the kitchen as Carol was preparing the lobsters. Also, Ramsey also told Danny to check the way Ben was preparing the potatoes. In addition, Gio's sauce for monk fish was too salty. However, things got better throughout the service. After service, there was a touching moment where his father dropped by to the kitchen as Danny cooked for him for him for the first time.
Over at Paula's Sunergy's Bistro, she went off to a slow start as her fellow chefs were too slow and quiet to respond to her orders. Plus, Andrea overcooked the scallops and her halibut (something she cooked for the first time) was too dark and dry. Then, there's Lacey. She was confused dealing with this many orders and the other chefs have to help her. She really couldn't stand the yelling. In addition, she struggled with the garnish. Despite that, Paula's kitchen finished strong as they finished service.
Chef Ramsey teased the chefs by saying that the winner of Hell's Kitchen is.... someone from Florida. That was great (Both Danny and Paula were from Florida).
But, the real deal occurred when the two chefs had their hands on the door knobs and have to open them. When the unlocked door was opened, it was Danny who came out and was the winner of Hell's Kitchen. He was jumping around celebrating and worried that he would fall down the stairs. Then, he was inducted into the Hell's Kitchen Wall of Fame with the previous winners.
I really liked this season and can't wait for next season.
